IFZA company accounting has its own rules that differ from the mainland. IFZA (International Free Zone Authority) is one of Dubai’s largest and most cost effective free zones, based in Dubai Silicon Oasis, and a popular choice for consultants, e-commerce sellers and small trading companies. Since 30 September 2025, IFZA requires financial statements at every licence renewal. Companies with turnover above AED 3 million, or more than 10 employees, must submit audited financial statements from an IFZA-approved auditor. Smaller businesses can submit simpler unaudited statements on IFZA’s own template instead.

Most IFZA companies are small, so the practical question is whether you stay under the AED 3 million and 10 employee limits.
